How soon after a divorce should I start dating and when do I introduce her (a new girlfriend) to the school age kids?

You start dating when you feel it is right… sorry, I know that is so cliche, but true… about the kids though.. that\’s a little more complex.. if you only have them part time and not full time, my best advice is to wait to introduce them until you are almost positive that this is the girl for you.. I say almost, because hopefully you want to evaluate how she is with your children before you are willing to tie the knot again.. but, make sure you are extremely serious before introducing her.. and NO OVERNIGHTS with the kids at first… when you do introduce, make it casual like you guys meet at the park or for ice cream.. then maybe over for a movie or a game.. but, make sure you keep checking in with your kids to see if they are handling everything ok… The fact you are asking this question shows you are a concerned dad which is good.. kuddos to you.. just keep putting your kids first! 
PS if you have them full time.. plan your dates on nights when they have sleepovers or something else you can plan for them.. (babysitters, \”parent\’s night out\” events, etc..)
