How To Explain To Your Parents Your Old Enough To Date!!?
Posted by admin
I'm 32 years old and my mom won't let me have a gf (jaykay I'm 13)
You can't just explain maturity to your parents, you have to prove to them that you're mature enough to date. Earn their trust and show them respect. Act responsibly. Take care of things that need to be done around the house.
Some parents set a certain age for when their child can date. It's not a bad thing, it's just them wanting you to stay young, and not be forced to face any adult issues that can happen. Sounds to me like they're just looking out for your well-being, health, and safety. And if this is the case, enjoy life now while you still can, because relationships take a lot of work.
Ask your father about respecting women. This might show him you're seriously wanting to date, and he'll tell your mom and she'll think it's cute and get all happy. Who knows? Anything can happen!
