How Long Should I Date Before Marriage?

My B/f and I have been dating for a year and three months. I am 9 months pregnant and we have been living together for about 8 months.
I love him SO much and I dont want to get married just cause we are having a baby. We have casually mentioned marriage a few times, but how long should I wait before I tell him I want to tie the knot.

This situation should be mutual. Why would you have to ask him? He should be the one to ask you. He is the man. He should man up and do the right thing. The right thing is to be honest and let you know his intentions. The situation was mutual to have sex.If you pay the cost, you need to pay the bill. The both of you knew that there was a chance that an innocent child would be the cost of you two having sex.Do the right thing. Ask him, what are his intentions. You want the child to have a wholesome life.

until you feel like you know him in and out and will be the one you will spend the rest of your life with. make sure he also feels the same.

There is a chance since you spoke of it before. I am not certain it should be up to you to tell him when you want to. Usually it’s the guy who asks the girl. Keep the lines of communication open about what marriage would be like with him but don’t just come out with it. Have you discussed where you want to live in the future, finances, how many children, what religion, what schooling, there are a lot of things to discuss before saying I do. Good luck to you.

Marriage is nothing but a commitment for each-other and that you are already having for last 8 months. Its nothing extraordinary. It is a social custom only.
